The course covers the full SQL development workflow. You start with database fundamentals and relational theory, then move into Transact-SQL: filtering, sorting, subqueries and built-in functions. From there the course builds into database design, indexing, stored procedures, views and functions. Azure SQL and AI-assisted development are covered as dedicated sections.
- Write T-SQL queries to retrieve, filter and modify data in SQL Server
- Design multi-table architectures with schemas and transaction logs
- Work with indexes, views, stored procedures and In-Memory tables
- Set up and manage Azure SQL Database instances in the cloud
- Use AI tools and prompt engineering to write and refine SQL queries faster
The course concludes with practical skills you can demonstrate directly: real SQL Server work, Azure SQL setup, and AI-assisted query development. Something concrete to show in a job application.
